Do you accept card payments?
Absolutely, for your convenience I accept all debit and credit cards, except Amex.

When do we pay the session fee?
The session fee should be paid at the point of making a firm booking with CLP. You can pay by cash, cheque or by plastic.

What is the difference between studio and location sessions?
The reason that the session fee is higher for the location work is that these sessions tend to be considerably longer. A standard studio session is somewhere between 60 & 90 minutes, whereas a location session could be double this. The studio session is more posed, although I work hard to capture spontaneous moments. Location sessions create more “lifestyle” imagery and typically record events on “a walk in the woods”, “a day on the beach” or something similar.

What should we wear for our session?
The most important thing is that you feel relaxed and comfortable.

For a studio session I would suggest that you wear clothes that are relatively bright as this will provide maximum definition. I would strong suggest that you don’t wear white! It can be complimentary for a couple to wear similar colours or shades, where possible. Kids should always be in bright clothing.

If we are doing are doing a shoot based from your house, there is an opportunity for you to change clothes.

For a location shoot I would suggest something appropriate for the location – coats & wellies for a walk in the woods, etc

How many pictures do you take?
In a studio shoot I will usually capture 150-200 images and on a location shoot this number may increase to circa 200-400. I will then present a selection of around 60-120 images from which you can make a selection for an album, framed prints, or another more contemporary presentation medium such as acrylics.

How do we get to see the photographs?
About a week after the shoot, we will get together and view a presentation of the selected images. At this stage you will get the opportunity to order your favourite images.
I will also arrange for your pictures to be displayed within a secure area of my website so that you and your friends can review them.

Can we buy an album of images?
Of course you can; especially from a location shoot where we will have visited numerous settings and have a varied collection of images.

Do you work nationwide?
Yes, I work anywhere in the mainland U.K. and I will also undertake overseas commissions.

What format of camera do you use?
I only use high specification Nikon professional digital cameras. Because everything is digital I have the freedom to produce colour, black & white or toned pictures all from one image file.
